Exciting times in Conveyancing:- The Land Titles Office (LPI) & PEXA have announced that the first ever electronic property settlement in Australia has taken place!
Our Tony Morris attended an electronic settlement seminar last week and we are ready and excited for the rollout to Newcastle next year.

Last weekend we attended the AIC NSW State Conference. It was a great day refreshing our education and catching up with our fellow conveyancers. We had our identity verified ready for electronic conveyancing which starts in Wollongong next month Looking forward to its extension to the Hunter, approx mid 2015!

Last night we had a dinner in honour of Ian Marler who is transitioning into retirement. Ian is a founder of Conveyancing Services and a very inspirational man who was pivotal in winning the battle for Conveyancers to be recognised as a profession outside of solicitors. Good news for those looking to buy this year, The Reserve Bank has decided to leave interest rates on hold at its first meeting for 2014. This makes 6 months of steady rates of a 60 year low rate of 2.5 percent.
